Our Airborne 14'' Trampoline uses a 14 gauge top rail frame. Many less expensive trampolines use a 17 gauge top rail. A good trampoline should not bend or bow when setup or flex when in use. We see department store trampolines in backyards all the time that are bowing down and there is not even anyone jumping on it! Makes us wonder what it does when you get a few kids on it? Look around your neighborhood, we bet you will see one of these units. Our trampolines use a lot stronger, thicker, metal for their frames than those found on wholesale clubs and department store trampolines. With a strong thick frame, the only thing that should flex on a good trampoline is the springs. Never the frame. Don''t just buy a trampoline on price alone. Did you buy everything you own because it was the cheapest thing they had? Buy good quality this time. Your family deserves the best in quality and safety when it comes to buying a trampoline. . SPRINGS: How strong are they? Are they too stiff or too weak? How many are there? The more per unit the better the bounce. More importantly how long are they? The longer the spring the better the bounce. Trampolines Offer Great Conditioning Benefits Fitness buffs are singing the praises for the health benefits of trampolines. The low-impact aerobic workout targets and sculpts many parts of the body. "Where do I start?" said Leland Tilden, a Toronto high-school student, when asked jumping how his fitness has improved since he started trampolining. "Your legs . . . you jumping get great legs, and of coursse your abdominals jumping - washboard abs - but what is really surprising is how tired you get. Trampolining is an amazing aerobic workout. All you have to do is start bouncing. Most people don''t realize how hard they are working until they break into a sweat." Leland describes jumping himself as "a big tall klutz." However the 17-year-old has developed athletic grace attributed to the skills he has learned on the trampoline after shattering his ankle in a gymnastics routine three years ago. He decided to use a trampoline as rehabilitation for is injury, and he can''t stop jumping. "I find that if I am going to slip on ice, I can catch myself," he said. "I find that my balance and body awareness are better. It has helped me in the everyday world." Please note that under the terms of the warranty, you are responsible for paying shipping costs both ways.
